F1 2022 Guide – 18 inches Going all out?

It's as if the F1 had spent the winter in a pot of protein and came out stronger, more massive, more imposing. A visual impression mainly linked to the change in tire and rim sizes, with the transition from 13 to 18 inches. The main reason for this development? It is more marketing than sporting, since it will allow single-seaters to fit wheel sizes similar to production cars, in order to facilitate the transfer of technology and to honor its venerable mission as an automobile laboratory. From an aesthetic point of view, since it is the only thing we can judge at the moment, the mutation is a success. Previewed in marketing filming even before the winter tests in Barcelona (February 23-25), the new single-seaters appear enhanced by these wheels which are 60 millimeters higher, and which give them a futuristic look.
