After more than two and a half months of hiatus, the Formula 2 is back this weekend, for the last two rounds of the season, contested as usual as a curtain raiser to the F1Present since the F1 United States Grand Prix as a Racing Bulls reserve driver, Isack Hadjar will this time be back behind the wheel for the big challenge of his season, that of going for the championship title in the antechamber of the premier category.

Having been overtaken in the championship by the new leader Gabriel Bortoleto in Baku, Isack Hadjar is only 4,5 points behind the Brazilian and will have a first opportunity to take points from him in Losail (Qatar), on a track that Formula 2 did not use last year. In the background for the Tricolore, the desire to go for a place on the F1 grid at Racing Bulls in 2025, in the event that Red Bull would decide to replace Checo Perez with Liam Lawson or Yuki tsunoda.

While waiting to hear Red Bull's decisions and whether or not the Parisian will be crowned Formula 2 champion, the director of the Austrian team's academy spoke in a Canal + documentary dedicated to Hadjar, which will be broadcast this Saturday at 19:15 p.m. on Canal +. "For me the most important thing is the desire and the willingness to learn. Isack has that in him. A lot. And he's ready." Guillaume Rocquelin has indeed let go.

As for his chances of going to F1, Isack does not ask himself too many questions and prefers to concentrate on his objective of the title in F2. "That's the only thing I can do to get a seat in F1, he assures in the documentary directed by Manon David. That's the goal… they (Red Bull) put me at Campos Racing so that I could bring back a top team and win with it. You have to tick the box. Afterwards, whether I win or not, they know my value. I'm going to go get this title for myself."
