After the Silverstone event and the round at Monza, the São Paulo Grand Prix will see the third (and final) sprint race of the season. A few days ago, Ross Brawn announced that at least six sprint rounds will see the light of day next year. A format that pleases Günther Steiner, team principal of Hass. Despite the fact that its two pilots, Nikita mazepin et Mick Schumacher, are struggling to break away from the back of the grid, the Italian leader admitted to waiting “looking forward to Brazil as the track should suit the sprint qualifying format very well.”

The Italian, who is participating in discussions concerning the future of this format, is waiting to hear the fans' opinions in order to adjust some modifications to the sprint races. « We need to see after the three events we have had this year how the fans have reacted and if we need to make some adjustments there is always room for that ». And he admits, the continued existence of this new race which is used to determine the starting grid for a Grand Prix is ​​good news for the future of the Formula 1. « You can always improve something, so we need to look at the format and see how we can improve it. For me, doing a few more next year is very good for the sport ».
