By choosing to give its confidence to Nico Hülkenberg, Haas has decided to turn its back on Mick Schumacher, a young driver whom it has nevertheless strived to train for two years. Is this the right choice?

The news was only made official in Abu Dhabi, on the sidelines of the last Grand Prix of 2022, but Mick Schumacher knew his future was sealed for several weeks now. The announcement of the end of his collaboration at the end of the season with the prancing horse, while he was a resident of the Ferrari Driver Academy, came several months ago although it was never made public.
