Haas hopes “two steps forward on Wednesday”

This first day of the week on the occasion of the second week of Barcelona's pre-season testing did not smile on Haas F1 team. Victim of a problem with the fuel system of his VF-16, Esteban Gutierrez was only able to complete 23 laps this Tuesday.

Haas F1 Team, which can count on a close technical partnership with Scuderia Ferrari, was not the only team to see its program disrupted this Tuesday in Catalonia, since the team of Maranello experienced transmission problems today.

Just like in the first week, reliability is not yet exemplary for the Italian clan, Haas F1 Team however facing teething problems which affect the new teams. Gutiérrez will be back tomorrow in the VF-16, before giving up his place on Thursday to Romain Grosjean which will conclude the practice session on Friday.
