Haas: Santino Ferrucci development driver

Santino Ferrucci will have a busy schedule in 2016. In parallel with his season in the GP3 Series which he will compete at Dams, the native of Woodbury (Connecticut) will be the development driver for Haas F1 Team. The American will follow the races and tests, notably working on the simulator.

“My goal since I started racing has been to become an F1 driver. It’s priceless to evolve within an American team while being American.”, commented the new Haas F1 Team recruit.

Günther Steiner, Team Principal of Haas F1 Team, is convinced he made the right choice. “In F1, developing your people is as important as developing the car. One cannot work without the other. Santino Ferrucci has done a very good job in every championship he has competed in and his maturity off the track is impressive. We see in Santino a young American driver with great potential. »
