Isack Hadjar came very close, very close, to the tenth place point in Miami. Eleventh at the finish for the French driver, Yuki tsunoda, who preceded him with his Red Bull, had a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane. Despite giving it his all, the rookie was unable to close the gap. He crossed the finish line 5,168 seconds behind his former teammate…
« I could see the gap on my steering wheel and I gave it everything I had., explained the Parisian to the microphone of the F1. But it wasn't enough. On the last lap, I wanted too much and made a few mistakes. It's frustrating, I'm disappointed. »
Despite the special Racing Bulls livery in Florida, Isack Hadjar didn't see things through rose-tinted glasses in Miami and left without any points. However, the French driver continues to regularly outpace his teammate, Liam Lawson, who has suffered a string of misfortunes at the wheel of the VCARB02. By comparison, Hadjar impresses with his consistency. As usual, the young driver is always realistic and demanding of himself, engaging in unashamed self-criticism after the race.
« I had difficulty with the car, confided the Parisian to Canal+. Over my entire stint, due to my small mistakes, I must have lost a second and I blame myself, even if Yuki must have done some too. It was complicated. And then we lost everything on the first stint, at the restart of the first Safety Car, where I restarted with too much of a gap to the car in front. I had brake problems, so when Lewis Hamilton I overtake me, I go straight on, I dirty my tires and I fall behind the whole group in front. »

"Hello Laurent, it's Christian, tell Hadjar not to increase the pace so that Yuki can pocket the point for 10th place!" Ah, someone whispered into my ear that the instruction was given to Ridiculous Bulls via the Red Bull Racing Bulls group on WhatsApp
