Hamilton anticipates 'tight' battle against Verstappen

In Jeddah, Lewis Hamilton went through all his emotions. Fastest man Friday, the driver Mercedes saw Max Verstappen take the lead throughout the day this Saturday. In the tough race against an increasingly comfortable Batavian, the Briton seemed destined for 2nd place on the grid but an error from his rival during his last attempt allowed him to take the 102nd pole position of his career .

Protected by Valtteri Bottas, 2nd on the grid ahead of Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton intends to work as a team this Sunday to keep the Dutchman at bay and return to the lead in the championship. “ It is the objective, he says. We worked a lot on the simulator, on the settings. The collaboration with Valtteri Bottas is simply epic. He's the best teammate I've had in this sport. We worked together on the settings to put the car where it is today.
