Hamilton awaits an exciting race

Lewis Hamilton, after his victories in Turkey and Canada, put himself perfectly back in the title race to win a second world crown. Now leader of the drivers' standings, the Briton will arrive in Valencia next weekend, on the shores of the Mediterranean, as the favorite. However, the hierarchy could also evolve again, the urban circuit of Valencia being very different from that of Montreal or Istanbul. A fact that does not displease Hamilton.

« It is good for the championship that we frequent different types of circuits, confides the World Champion. We are returning from a very fast, very rolling circuit, to find a narrow and urban circuit in the streets of Valencia. And, next month, we will go to Silverstone, one of the fastest circuits of the year, and full of history. For a driver, this variety of circuits makes the races more interesting and unpredictable, and that's all we ask for. »

« The last Grands Prix were quite exciting, continues Hamilton, who knew how to become the host of the first races at the start of the season. It would be great for the Spanish fans if we could experience such a great race here. It?s not a circuit where we overtake a lot but that could change this season. It?s so tight on the grid. In Montreal, there were fights throughout the peloton. So I think we could have a competitive and exciting race this year. »
