Hamilton 'disgusted' after crash with Bottas

Lewis Hamilton did not deny his responsibility in his accident with Valtteri Bottas at the Brazilian Grand Prix, but the 2008 world champion is particularly disappointed to have lost numerous positions following his contact while the Finn was a latecomer. The Briton lost a lot of time following a puncture before being given a drive-through by the marshals who noted that the W04 had crushed the Scandinavian at the end of turn 4.

“I suppose I caused the collision but it was a latecomer who tried to pass me”, said the pilot Mercedes in the paddock of the Brazilian Grand Prix. “I don’t really know what happened, I have to look at the footage. I moved to the left, he locked his brakes and we touched. I obviously did something wrong. I'm a little disappointed because I lost a lot of points for the team. I was catching up Alonso and I think I could have at least fought against him. »

By securing ninth place after a good comeback, and with Nico Rosberg's fifth position, Mercedes retains second place in the Constructors' Championship with six points ahead of the Team Ferrari.
