Lewis Hamilton remains undefeated in qualifying this season by taking pole at the Bahrain GP ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg.

Hamilton on pole ahead of Vettel in Bahrain

Lewis Hamilton signs his 4th consecutive pole this season by winning qualifying for the Bahrain GP with authority. The pilot Mercedes achieved a time of 1’32”571 to beat his closest opponent by more than 4 tenths, Sebastian Vettel. The pilot Ferrari came to be inserted between the two W06 Hybrid beating Nico Rosberg by a tenth. Kimi Räikkönen completes the 2nd row ahead of Williams de Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa.

Daniel Ricciardo hoist first Red Bull in 7th place while his teammate Daniil Kvyat failed in Q1. Nico Hulkenberg takes 8th position in front Carlos Sainz Jr and Romain Grosjean.

Jenson Button once again encountered mechanical problems preventing him from setting any time. McLaren consoles oneself with 14th place in Fernando Alonso which achieved its Q2 objective by beating the Toro Rosso de Max Verstappen and the Lotus of Pastor Maldonado.

The start of the Bahrain GP will be given this April 19 at 17 p.m. and will be followed live on AUTOhebdo.fr.
