Hamilton does the job: “Important to bounce back from the previous race”

Some observers had seen in the difficult start to the season Lewis Hamilton last Sunday in Austria the sign of a decline in power. The Briton actually regained his full strength a week later, and in what way!

Author of a brilliant pole position on a wet road, the six-time world champion dominated the Styrian Grand Prix without a shot the day after. The man with 84 successes has added another to his very extensive list of achievements.

" I do not know what to say, he told Canal+. This is the result of incredible teamwork. I couldn't do what I do without their participation. Yesterday, I gave my all in qualifying, which allowed me to manage today.

The Red Bull were in a good pace in the race, but I managed to get a little better pace to stay ahead of them every lap. »

The Englishman’s demonstration had a particular flavor. “It was important to bounce back from the previous race. I was very focused last weekend, but the differences are in small things. Last Sunday, I was a little short and it cost me points and a penalty.

It was important to digest all that, to recharge the batteries at the start of the week. I couldn't be happier. »
