Imperial Hamilton in Singapore

McLaren-Mercedes is really back and Lewis Hamilton has proven that he can put his best foot forward on all terrains. Two weeks ago, the Briton lost second place in the Italian Grand Prix with one lap remaining. But this time, Hamilton stood above the rest. He also benefited from the penalties imposed on Rosberg and Hag to glean a more ??peaceful?? victory.

At the start of the Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton took off perfectly and kept his first place. Nico Rosberg, 3rd, overtakes Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso, who started 5th, overtook Mark Webber then Vettel. But the pilots Red Bull resume their position in the followed turns. Passed by Webber, Alonso is even surprised and Glock takes the opportunity to overtake him.

After three rounds, Romain Grosjean already says goodbye to the Singapore Grand Prix. Still hampered by recurring problems with the brakes, the Franco-Swiss cannot attack with confidence and prefers to withdraw than take risks.

At the forefront, an infernal trio stands out. Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel were grouped within four seconds after eight laps and pulled away from their pursuers, Timo Glock and Fernando Alonso. The first refueling stops are looming and, as expected, Sebastian Vettel begins the pit stops.

The aid stations offer the first turn of the Grand Prix. Nico Rosberg, leaving the pits, missed his turn and bit the white line which he should not have crossed. The sanction falls quickly: the pilot Williams-Toyota est pénalisé par un drive through.

The restart is therefore given, with Rosberg in P2, before the German quickly returns to execute his drive through. Sebastian Vettel took the opportunity to take second place and stick to the wheels of the leader, Lewis Hamilton. A superb duel ensues between the two men, who do not let go of each other an inch. On the other hand, the German saw his right mirror fail him. A few seconds later, the Red Bull driver damaged his rear diffuser on a kerb.

Sebastian Vettel takes the paddock by surprise by making his second stop 22 laps from the finish. Immediately after his pit stop, the German learned that he had to return to serve a drive through, a penalty which deprived him of fighting for victory. Lewis Hamilton, who was able to resist the German, therefore sees the end of the race with more serenity.

The top 6 drivers benefit from it! If they don't make any noise, Glock, Alonso, Button and Barrichello are nibbling positions with each hard hit for the leading drivers. The positions seem fixed for the top 3 drivers, with a podium emerging: Hamilton, Glock, Alonso. Meanwhile, the two Toro Rosso abandon and Mark Webber crashes into the wall with brake problems. Jenson Button, who got the better of Rubens Barrichello, is fifth with ten laps to go, a few seconds behind Sebastian Vettel.

Wishing to take advantage of possible brake problems from Vettel (after the retirements of Buemi, Alguersuari and Webber's accident), Button attacks during the last laps to get closer to the German, before he himself is subject to smoke coming from his brakes. The positions therefore remain fixed and it is Don Lewis Hamilton who wins ahead of Timo Glock, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.
