Hamilton: Victory to turn the page

Lewis Hamilton is under pressure from his teammate Jenson Button at the end of the season. While the 2009 world champion is fighting at the front (last victory at Suzuka), his compatriot only achieved a 7th place at the Indian GP after once again clashing with Felipe Massa. Lewis Hamilton definitely wants to put an end to this bad spell by going for victory next week in Abu Dhabi, where the MP4-26s should be at ease.

“We have every reason to be confident about Abu Dhabi”, assures the 2008 world champion. “This circuit really corresponds to the characteristics of our single-seaters. We should be able to take full advantage of DRS and SREC on the finishing straight, these two elements being very optimized on our cars. Red Bull and Sebastian (Hag) may have won both Championships but I remain determined to end the season on a good note. I won two Grands Prix this year and I would be delighted to double the stakes. »
