A few points gained but frustration nonetheless. Lewis Hamilton, who started 12th this Sunday in Miami, finally took 8th place, just behind his teammate Charles Leclerc. And just in front Carlos Sainz, who was very close to overtaking him on the last bend.

The least we can say is that the two Ferrari drivers brought life to the end of the race. And the tension rose within the TeamIn an attempt to catch Antonelli, the Briton asked to swap positions with his teammate. But the team order took a while to arrive, much to the dismay of the seven-time world champion.

Eventually, Leclerc ceded his position to him. But a few laps later, history repeated itself in reverse. Leclerc, believing himself to be faster than Hamilton, asked his team to regain his position. Ferrari agreed, but far too late to hope to trouble Kimi Antonelli in 6th place.

Hamilton: "A very fun race"

After the race, the Briton appeared to be smiling in front of the media, and far from disappointed. "Honestly, it was a really fun race. It was a bit complicated at the beginning because I lost a lot of time behind the Haas. But after that, I was head down, trying to get back. I was hoping the rain would come, but it didn't come our way today.", he admitted to Canal+.

As soon as he put on the medium tires, his car came back to life, according to him. "I was very optimistic that we might catch up with the front-runners. But we had a bit of an internal battle.", Hamilton reacted again, without any animosity towards his team.

"We'll discuss it together. I'm not frustrated, I'm not sensitive or emotional about this kind of thing. I don't think it's a controversy.", he concluded.

Or how to row with a clear head? Sir Lewis's cockpit comments were very tinged with irony, unless it was British humor... not sure that would be to the taste of the Scuderia management!

There's no point in trying to put out the fire afterward; it's clear that discord is brewing between Hamilton and Ferrari. His arrival at the Italian team, excessive by nature, could only have two opposing outcomes: triumph or a grimace. The second option is clearly on the cards.
