Four qualifications, four men
Over the last four Grands Prix, four different drivers have taken pole position. This hasn't happened since the Silverstone sequence (Carlos Sainz), Austria (Max Verstappen), France (Charles Leclerc) and Hungary (George Russell) in 2022.
Hamilton freed!
On the Barcelona circuit, Lewis Hamilton achieved by far his best race of the season by finishing on the podium for the first time, which had not happened since… the 2023 Mexican Grand Prix! A 198th career podium which resonates like a victory. This is also the 18th consecutive year that the Briton has reached the podium at least once, a first in the history of the F1.

Norris, the glass half empty!
In his career, Lando Norris achieved two pole positions: one in Russia in 2021 and another, this weekend (June 21-23), in Spain. In both cases, the pilot McLaren never knew how to convert his very good qualification into victory. Even worse, every time he started from first place on the grid, he never managed to keep his position at the first corner.
Verstappen reigns supreme
By winning in Spain, Max Verstappen signed his 61st career success, his 7th since the start of the season. The Dutchman has been comfortably at the top of the driver rankings since… The 2022 Spanish Grand Prix! Indeed, two years ago, his victory allowed him to take the lead in the drivers' championship. And since this Grand Prix, he has never let go. 764 days since Verstappen leads the Formula 1 world championship.
Sainz received 10/10 in Spain
In all of his races in Spain, Carlos Sainz has consistently finished in the points. However, he has never finished on the podium, his best result being 4th (in 2022).
Alonso is no longer moving forward
He crossed the finish line in 12th position, thus scoring no points for his home race. Over the last four Grands Prix, Fernando Alonso only entered the top 10 once (6th place in Canada).

The Batavian has permanently topped the Drivers' ranking since the 2022 Spanish GP, this shows his relentless domination especially as the RB20 is not in the same vein as its ancestors RB18 and RB19!
