Hamilton remains satisfied with his weekend

Started in third position on the Valencia starting grid behind the two drivers Red Bull, Lewis Hamilton failed to contain the F150° Italia when the lights turned green. Nevertheless, the Briton finished fourth after gaining the upper hand from Felipe Massa during the pit stops.

The 2008 World Champion speaks of a difficult race, where tire management caused him a lot of problems. “This race was long”, confirms Lewis Hamilton. ?The team asked me to stay on track as long as possible and I attacked throughout my stint. But I struggled with my car?s oversteer and, to be honest, I didn?t feel comfortable with the tires. »

However, the pilot McLaren managed to cross the finish line in fourth place, his best result since the Spanish GP where he finished second. “Having reached fourth place is still a good result, the 12 points collected in the last two races is encouraging, I can't complain. »
