Hamilton: Singapore 'really suits my style'

Lewis Hamilton remains on a complicated weekend at the Italian Grand Prix. After missing the last qualifying session for the first time this season, the 2008 world champion only climbed to ninth place, his worst result since Barcelona. “I have always really enjoyed the Singapore Grand Prix and the unique night schedules we have to follow”, comments Lewis Hamilton, who saw his streak of four consecutive poles come to an end at Monza. “As a street circuit, the Marina Bay layout really suits my style. It's more of a testing circuit where you have to work hard with the car on the full lap to gain the advantage in tricky corners and braking. We had two difficult weekends in Belgium and Italy, but I know that the whole team is determined to bounce back and create as many opportunities as possible during the last seven events of the season. »
