Hamilton on the same path in Bahrain?

After starting the season with a retirement in Melbourne, Lewis Hamilton was able to return to victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix where he won for the first time. The 2008 world champion seems reinvigorated by this success as the next meeting in Bahrain is organized this weekend. “This victory in Malaysia marked the real start of my season. Getting a double was also a fantastic result for the team and I can't wait to see what we can do in Bahrain. I finished on the podium twice (2nd in 2007 and 3rd in 2010), but for one reason or another, I never managed to win. It was the same story in Malaysia until last week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the year I end these cycles. »

Mercedes AMG F1 has every reason to be optimistic since the Brackley team won the first two races of the season and had already produced promising performances during winter testing. Lewis Hamilton's biggest opponent at the moment seems to be his teammate Nico Rosberg who is also leading the Championship. “Malaysia was an important test for the team (with main sponsor Petronas) and we have a test session (Pirelli) coming up right after the race (April 8-9). It would be a good thing to bring the team another good result after this long journey. We know that it will be difficult to maintain this level of performance, especially on a circuit where each team benefited from a significant amount of running time during the winter, but I will continue to attack. »
