Hockenheim: no more time to organize a GP

The 2015 season of F1 should only include 19 Grand Prix in view of the latest statements from Georg Seiler, the person responsible for managing the circuitHockenheim. While this route seemed to be the only solution to keep the German GP on the discipline's calendar, organizers have indicated that they do not wish to welcome F1 back to their track after suffering significant financial losses last year.

“We do not plan to host the event this year”, explained Georg Seiler on Bild. “We don't have enough time to sell tickets. We do not have no more time to organize a race here. The quality of the event would suffer. »

The German GP is scheduled for July 19. The Nürburgring and Hockenheim circuits, both in financial difficulty for several years, have hosted F1 alternately for seven years.
