Horner assures Red Bull will be there in 2016

While the identity of Red Bull's future engine manufacturer continues to fuel speculation in the paddock of the F1, Dietrich Mateschitz's company seeks to reassure the public after having mentioned a possible departure. Christian Horner, Team Principal of Red Bull Racing, spoke to reassure about the future of Austrian society in the discipline.

“We are committed to being in F1 next year and beyond.”, commented the director of the Milton Keynes stable at the BBC Sport. “We work hard to get as competitive a proposal as possible. I hope we will be able to announce our plans at the end of the season. »

Time is running out for Red Bull, whose future engine manufacturer remains unknown just over two months before the first tests of the 2016 season. Renault, its current supplier, is in a complex situation which partly depends on the takeover of Lotus F1 Team.
