HRT: Testing before Melbourne?

HRT is reorganizing itself to strengthen the Spanish character of its team. The Hispanic team is moving its structure to Spain and has already promoted Pedro de la Rosa as starting driver in 2012 and 2013, the second driver being still unknown at the moment. Faced with all these changes, Luis Perez Sala, the new team principal who has just taken office, recently admitted that he expected poorer performances than at the end of the 2011 season. He still hopes that his team will be able to carry out tests before the Australian GP.

“We have clearly been delayed by the new team organization”, recognizes Colin Kolles’ replacement at Marca. “The crash tests imposed by the FIA make our work even more difficult. I still hope that we will be able to finish this in January to be ready for pre-season testing. If we don't succeed, I still hope we can do some testing before going to Melbourne. »
