HRT F1 Team unveils the lines of the F112
The new F112 made its first laps today on the Catalunya circuit. HRT hoped to take part in the final day of testing in Barcelona, but the team failed to prepare the car in time. Like Marussia F1 Team, the Spanish team made a promotional film to be able to take to the track with its new car. Narain Karthikeyan was the first to enter the track before being replaced by his teammate Pedro de la Rosa.
The FIA limited this session for both teams to a 100km run to be carried out on demonstration tires. The young teams will arrive in two weeks at the Malaysian Grand Prix without knowing the new tires developed by Pirelli.
