Hülkenberg: Maintaining the momentum of 2015

In addition to his historic victory at 24 Hours of Le Mans on Porsche 919 Hybrid au côté de Nick Tandy et Earl Bamber, Nico Hulkenberg allowed, with his teammate Sergio Pérez, Force India to sign the best season in its young history, with a fifth place in the Manufacturers' standings in 2015.

A performance that Vijay Mallya's team hopes to at least repeat this season. According to Hülkenberg, the first drafts of the replacement VJM08 are encouraging. “From what I have seen of what the team is doing and the developments underway, I think we can fight for good results, and probably even better than in 2015." explains the German on the official website of the discipline.

Stability will also be there in 2016 for Force India, which will retain the V6 turbo/hybrid Power Unit Mercedes, at a time when several teams will change suppliers, like Toro Rosso (which comes back to the engine Ferrari) or Lotus, bought by Renault to once again become the official team of the French manufacturer.

“Less pre-season testing could mean better opportunities in the first few races if we are better prepared than the others, and maintain our momentum from 2015,” added Hulkenberg.
