Hülkenberg edges out Grosjean in Barcelona

Best weather this morning, Nico Hulkenberg (Force India) continued its domination this Wednesday afternoon in Catalonia by lowering its best time to 1'23″110 on super-soft tires. The good news came from Team Ferrari, since after spending almost the entire morning session in his box, Kimi Räikkönen was able to progress normally over the last four hours. The Finn climbed into third position in 1'25"977, and was able to accumulate 78 laps of the Montmelo track.

Despite a stop at the pit lane exit in the last part of the session before being able to continue his session, Kevin Magnussen completes a positive day in the clan Renault with 111 laps for the RS16 and the fourth cumulative time this Wednesday.

Only present on track this morning, Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) retained fifth place of the day ahead of the metronome Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso), the most diligent on the track with 161 laps completed with the Ferrari-powered STR11.

Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull) follows in the ranking ahead of Williams FW38 by Felipe Massa, and the McLaren of Jenson Button, forced to end his day prematurely after the discovery of a hydraulic leak on his MP4-31.

Rio Haryanto (Manor), who caused an interruption of the session in the morning after making a mistake at turn 5, concludes the ranking with 74 laps to the Manor MRT05's credit. The last day of Thursday will begin at 9 a.m., and will again be followed live on our website.
