After a solid season at Williams, Nico Hulkenberg had to settle for a position as reserve driver with Force India. After having completed 14 test sessions in 2011, the German will finally return to the starting grids by replacing Adrian Sutil. If he maintained his condition on the Fridays before the race, he will still have to quickly discover and understand new things compared to these memories of 2010.
“I hope everything will be back to normal after a weekend or two”, recognizes Nico Hülkenberg. “I know what to expect with my season in 2010. I will have to be aggressive in qualifying and in the race and concentrate on managing the Pirelli tires, seeing how they evolve in the Grand Prix. This was the kind of work I couldn't do this season, so it will be an area where I will have to get back up to speed. I can't work on theory, I have to train in a real situation. The quickest way to do this is definitely to drive the car. »
