Rookie in F1 This season, Isack Hadjar is making more and more of an impression, particularly within the team. Red BullIt must also be said that since his retirement in Australia, during the first race, the Racing Bulls driver has been putting in a string of solid performances. He notably scored points at Suzuka (8th) and Jeddah (10th).

So, this weekend, on the sidelines of the Miami GP, Christian Horner, the boss of the Austrian team, praised the young Frenchman. "He's perhaps the most impressive rookie so far this year. I think he's exceeded all of our expectations.", assured the manager, questioned by Sky Sports F1.

“He’s been really impressive so far this season. Especially on tracks he’s never driven on. He’s had very little track time in an F1 car. He’s like a fish in water so he’s been very impressive so far.” Horner estimated.

Like Hadjar, the Red Bull boss surprised by the new generation

"It is very effective.", the Red Bull boss reassured. In the same interview, Christian Horner also said how much he thought of the new generation that arrived this season. "I think these young people who are coming in, we see that they are simply ready to adapt to Formula 1. And they are very confident, they have plenty of energy."

"Isack had a brilliant drive, in my opinion, on circuits that were almost all new to him.", concluded the Briton. As a reminder, the Frenchman will start in 11th position this Sunday. With numerous overtaking opportunities, he will still have the possibility of securing another top 10 finish. Enough to continue his momentum and confirm all the good things people think of him in the paddock.

If it's to offer him the hot potato of the second Red Bull seat, Hadjar might as well not listen to Horner. Other teams will surely be interested in what he shows on the track.

If I were Isack Hadjar, I would be a little wary of the words of Christian Horner who knows, when necessary, how to be perfectly hypocritical like a good self-respecting Englishman!!
