Anderstorp, a rural track where the famous Brabham vacuum cleaner raced, designed by the brilliant Gordon Murray, and the venue for the only Grand Prix to take place in Scandinavia! A time when Swedes drove in F1, such as Ronnie Peterson, taking over from Joakim Bonnier with Reine Wissell, Gunnar Nilsson and Stefan Johansson, the last Swede being, if I'm not mistaken, Marcus Ericsson, who didn't really make his mark on the history of F1! Clearly, the return of F1 to the Nordic countries is not on the agenda because we no longer hear about Valterri Bottas and the KymiRing in his native country!

A significant event, yes. I had been becoming increasingly interested in F1 for a few years, and for the occasion I bought my first Sport-Auto with Laffite and the Ligier on the cover. I was a loyal reader (as well as later Auto-Hebdo and Grand Prix International) until May 94 and the event you know about, which put me off F1 for quite a few years. Then the frustration finally subsided.
