Isack Hadjar laments after his accident on the formation lap

The joy was short-lived for Isack Hadjar, whose Australian Grand Prix adventure unfortunately ended after just two corners on the formation lap.

On a wet tarmac, the French driver, trying to warm up his tires, applied the gas, causing him to lose control of his car. Unfortunately, he was unable to stop in time and hit the wall on the outside, severely damaging his Racing Bulls. He was thus forced to retire before his first start.

« I am embarrassed and sorry for the team, he regretted on Canal +. I saw that the conditions were difficult during my grid laps but that didn't mean I put it in the wall. The conditions were better when I went back on the grid. I knew that it was on the formation lap that I had to get the tires up to temperature, the more work you do, the better it is and that's it... It's a mistake, just... I can't believe it »

Always wearing a helmet when he returned to the Racing Bulls hospitality, Isack Hadjar was able to count on Anthony's support Hamilton, father of his idol Lewis, who took the time to leave the garage Ferrari to come and comfort him.

« He knows what these difficult times are like... It's nothing new for him., he added. That's very kind of him. It's still nice to have someone like that comforting you. »

Isack Hadjar will be able to take his revenge next weekend in China.

The new Prost has succeeded in imitating the Professor on his worst days, let's hope he can imitate the best.

It's the job that comes in! Others have missed out a little further, and not the least, like the Smooth Operator...

He's not the only one to have made a mistake, but he was the first and at the wrong time! I don't think it would have changed the result; a mistake would surely have occurred later, and perhaps with more consequences. We can emerge from such a situation stronger. See you in China for a first arrival.

He showed some good things in practice, but it's only a matter of time before the results arrive.

Maybe too much media blah blah!!! Oh yes, the French, in need of results, are looking for a new Prost....
