Jack Brabham no longer believes in Webber

If the famous Australian offered his full support to the pilot Red Bull, Jack Brabham no longer thinks that the title is possible for his compatriot. “ The title would have meant a lot to me and to Australia, but unfortunately I think he missed his chance last weekend », confessed the former World Champion to the Australian Associated Press.

« I support him 100% in his conquest of the title but I don't think he will win it this year or that he will one day be World Champion. He was 14 points ahead and is now behind in the standings. I think it will be very difficult. Mark is a very good driver but he makes too many mistakes. I think his blunder in Korea probably cost him the Championship. »

Jack Brabham seems to have had a hard time with the Australian?s abandonment since he didn?t stop there. “ Pilots like Alonso are young while Mark is now a little too old. He can probably do one more season but he will be too old in a sport for young men. He faces drivers of 21 or 22 years old. He has work ahead of him. He must finish ahead of Alonso and Hag and it may not be obvious. »
