Jack Doohan should be replaced by Franco Colapinto from Imola

The Australian's career at Alpine should, barring any surprises, end before the European tour. As expected since the beginning of the season, Franco Colapinto should benefit from it.

Jack Doohan should be replaced by Franco Colapinto from Imola

@DPPI

The last image of Jack Doohan in a Alpine Will it be this pitiful retirement on the first lap of the Miami Grand Prix? It seems to be the trend, after another failed weekend for the Australian. Having missed out on the first of the three GPs planned in the United States, Doohan ended his race

Indeed, with a mafioso like Briatore, anything goes to make flour for the mill! It is inconceivable to have let this gentleman return to F1.... And let's not be surprised by the end or the sale (with nice bribes) by Briatore :(:(:(:(

Disgusting is the word that best describes Briatore's methods, who even cheats in his own stable. It wasn't difficult to sabotage Doohan's races to better eject him. But the image ofAlpine (including Renault since the cheat is commissioned by De Meo) takes a nasty hit.

Regardless of the nationality of the second pilot, Alpine no longer sells vehicles in Australia since 2021 due to the local standard on side impacts and the brand with the arrowed A is not distributed in Argentina. It will therefore be a financial choice, Colapinto being supported by generous South American sponsors, which can only please "Il Magnifico Flavio" the king of Cheaters with a view to a more attractive financial valuation when reselling the team ... especially if the Mercedes 2026 PowerUnit confirms the rumor!

These methods are purely disgusting. They could have at least played the game by putting him in decent conditions, but no: we can't even say that he wasn't up to standard, he was just a spectator of this idiotic sabotage. Sad for Doohan, sad for Alpine.

Memories. Memories... Schumacher taking the Middle East place in 91 Not to mention Singapore 2008 and Trulli in 2004 despite his victory at the Monaco GP the same year

Briatore is the one who needs to be fired. Alpine is on the brink, nothing is working, the team would be for sale, I wouldn't be surprised
