Jenson Button confirms

Q3

Kimi Räikkönen was the first to start and necessarily the first to take pole position, in 1:37:020. A time which will logically be beaten.

All the drivers did a fast lap. Jenson Button was the fastest, in 1:35:773, ahead of Sebastian Vettel, Jarno Trulli, Mark Webber and Rubens Barrichello.

Jarno Trulli reacts and dislodges Button from provisional pole position. Thanks to very clean driving, Trulli is first with a lap completed in 1:35:769. Everyone returns to put on new tires for a final attempt.

Tenth beat, Fernando Alonso ends his session. The Spaniard does not consider it useful to return to the track and prefers to preserve his tires and himself.

Rubens Barrichello in turn took provisional pole position in 1:35:651. The reply, however, comes from his teammate Jenson Button. 1:35??181, he is now the provisional pole sitter.

Sebastian Vettel sets the second fastest time while Jarno Trulli is still on track. The Italian failed nine hundredths behind Button. Second consecutive pole position for Jenson Button and Brawn GP.
