Jérôme d'Ambrosio: ready for Melbourne

Jérôme d?Ambrosio will this year be one of the four rookies for the 2011 season. The Belgian driver was able to familiarize himself with the Virgin in Barcelona. He approaches his first season with confidence.

“I have had a very enjoyable and rewarding week here in Barcelona and I feel we are now as well prepared as we can be for Melbourne, explains the Belgian pilot. We did a lot of kilometers, learned a lot about the car: how to get the most out of the current package and how we can develop it before the start of the season. I will now focus on my mental and physical preparation for my racing debut. »

Even though the season is fast approaching, the Virgin Racing driver is not particularly anxious. “It's been a long time since I signed for the team, but to be honest I haven't had time to worry because we've been too busy with testing. I know hitting the track for the first time in Melbourne is going to be something really special. I would like to thank the entire team for the work done. I hope the work done will bear fruit for us in Australia. »
