Jordan on Schumi: “Huge mistake”

Michael Schumacher has been at the center of all discussions since December 23, the date on which his return to Formula 1. Some criticize him, others say he still has a lot to show. Eddie Jordan, far from these judgments, prefers to comment on the merits of the seven-time World Champion's return to competition.

« The return of Michael Schumacher is an excellent thing for the discipline, he explains to Sport Bild. But, for him, personally, it is a huge mistake. Coming back at 41, facing people 20 years younger than you, defies the laws of physics and medicine. » Eddie Jordan thinks that Michael Schumacher, with his track record, did not come back for the simple pleasure of driving an F1. “Do you think he likes being beaten by Nico Rosberg? », asks the Irishman.

After ten races this season, Michael Schumacher is ninth in the Drivers' World Championship standings, with 36 points. His best result is fourth place, twice. His teammate, Nico Rosberg, scored 90 points and reached the podium three times this season.
