Jules Bianchi still in critical but stable condition

It has now been more than three weeks since French driver Jules Bianchi has been hospitalized at Yokkaïchi hospital in Japan, following his terrible accident during the Japanese Grand Prix on October 5, where the Marussia du Tricolore collided with a vehicle. lifting in the process of evacuating the car by the German Adrian Sutil. Bianchi, who suffers from a diffuse axonal injury, is still in critical but stable condition, as confirmed in the latest press release published this Thursday.

“It will be four weeks next Sunday since Jules' accident and he still remains hospitalized in Mie General Medical Center in Yokkaichi. His condition remains critical but stable according to doctors. Although we have no new information to give, we do know that there are a large number of people around the world who support Jules in his fight. We owe it to his many fans to provide information, no matter how brief. Jules indeed continues to fight. Although there have been some reports suggesting plans for Jules' treatment, his fight will continue here in Yokkaichi. We take things step by step. Once again, we would like to offer our sincere thanks for the patience and understanding being shown to our family at this very difficult time. We also continue to be comforted by the fact that Jules is receiving the best possible care, with the Japanese doctors remaining in constant contact with the neurosurgeons at La Sapienza University of Rome, and Professor Gérard Saillant, President of the Medical Commission of the FIA. We will provide a further update when it is appropriate to do so. In the meantime, thank you to everyone who continues to keep Jules in their thoughts and prayers. »
