Jules Bianchi wants to be able to attack at Sepang

On his Marussia MR03, Jules Bianchi was unable to finish the first Grand Prix of the season in Australia. The Frenchman had problems on the starting grid before having to give up 6 laps from the goal. For his part, Max Chilton, his teammate, finished last classified in 13th position, after the exclusion of the Red Bull de Daniel Ricciardo. Bianchi still wants to remember the positive side of this Melbourne race. “There were some encouraging signs for us in Melbourne, but also some bumps in our progress, which was obviously very frustrating, explains the Frenchman. Overall, it was good to have as much information to review with the engineers and what we learned from this race will be really useful for us. I'm looking forward to getting back in the car with the hope of an easier weekend in Malaysia, where we can really push the car and explore its potential. That said, this will by no means be an easy race. It’s a very different challenge from Melbourne. Sepang is difficult for the drivers, and also the car, with more difficult circuit characteristics not to mention the heat and humidity. So it's an environment in which pushing to the maximum is complicated, but it's what we have to do and thus bring back a good result. »

The first free practice sessions for the Malaysian Grand Prix will begin on Friday at 3 a.m. French time.
