Kevin Magnussen dreaming in Melbourne

The Australian Grand Prix was won by Nico Rosberg, but McLaren appears as the second winner of the weekend. The Woking team returned to the podium which it so missed last year thanks to an exceptional performance from Kevin Magnussen who competed in his first event in F1 this weekend in Melbourne! The rookie managed to become the first Dane to get on a Grand Prix podium, not without putting pressure on Daniel Ricciardo who was finally excluded, allowing the two drivers from the Woking team to gain a position.

“I can't believe it. It's not a victory but it's just like », comments the Formula champion Renault 3.5 Series who has the luxury of finishing ahead of his teammate Jenson Button. “The team is coming off a difficult season and they really want to mark their comeback. They worked very hard during the winter, especially alongside a rookie who has no experience. But they made me feel confident with everything. I couldn't ask for more. »
