Kevin Magnussen started by Renault
For several weeks, the rumor of the arrival of Kevin Magnussen within the new stable Renault, officially presented today by the Losange at the Technocentre in Guyancourt (Yvelines), was persistent.
The announcement of the departure of Pastor Maldonado, last Monday, confirmed that enstone was preparing to welcome a new recruit. Magnussen thus finds a starting position, after a season spent as the team's 3rd driver. McLaren.
The Dane, who had not extended his adventure in the bosom of Woking at the end of 2015, and notably tested the Porsche 919 Hybrid or even the Mercedes-AMG C63 of the DTM during the off-season. The former 3.5 Formula Renault 2013 champion, however, admitted that the F1 remained its primary objective.
