Kimi Räikkönen happy at Ferrari

Recently, Kimi Räikkönen announced that he could consider ending his F1 career at the end of his contract with Ferrari. In an interview with the Sky Sports channel, the Finn, however, reminded Martin Brundle that for the moment he remained fully involved despite the current difficulties and that the Team was the best place he could be.

“I have been linked with Ferrari before and we won the championship together. I'm back with them this year, and I think they're the team to be in, even if everything isn't perfect this season, which happens sometimes. If I could choose to race with any team, I would obviously choose the Scuderia. It was easy to say yes when I came back. I need something very specific to be happy with the car. This is not the case at the moment. You have to find solutions for each circuit, and sometimes make compromises which is not easy. I'm happy to be at Ferrari. Despite everything that has been said about how I shouldn't have come back compared to what happened when I left last time. (end of 2009, Editor's note.) But people don't really know what happened. I never had any resentment towards them. And the day I hate running, even if it's in the middle of a season, I'll stop, but it's not for now. »

The Finn will try to forget his British Grand Prix, where he violently went off the track, during the German Grand Prix, which will be contested next weekend at Hockenheim. Iceman has never won in Germany, but remains in second place last year at the Nürburgring with the Lotus E21.
