Kimi Raïkkönen not thrilled with his second place

For the twentieth time in a row, Kimi Räikkönen finished a Grand Prix in the points. In China the Lotus Finn F1 Team took a second place on the podium, just behind Fernando Alonso and in front Lewis Hamilton. A good result which, as usual, does not ignite “Iceman”.

“I think the ending was ?ok?, but we want to win”, announces the driver of the team?enstone. “After a bad start (where he was overtaken in quick succession by the Ferrari d?Alonso and Massan Editor’s note),the car responded well ». Kimi Räikkönen almost didn't see the finish of the race. On the 16th lap, as he tried to overtake Sergio Pérez (McLaren), the latter cuts him off and pushes him into the grass. Somehow, the 2007 world champion manages to keep control of his car but cannot avoid contact with his rival, and damages his front wing a little, without it being necessary to change it. “With Pérez, I was next to him and he pushed me into the grass”, relates the first winner of the season. ?I tried to avoid him but once outside I couldn?t avoid him. It didn't help me but it didn't affect me either. We had a bit of understeer but we were able to fight for second place. I could have gone a little faster without damage, but we will try to do better next time”, concludes Kimi Räikkönen.
