Heikki, what do you think of your start to the season? We imagine that you would like to finally complete a lap in the race?
Quite frankly, I think there are a lot of positive things to take away from these two weekends? apart from the races themselves! As you point out, I have not yet completed a single lap in a race this season. Despite this, I feel that I am progressing within the team. I work better over the whole weekend and we now have solid foundations. I want to look beyond these disappointments, move forward and try to have a good weekend until the end!

Has the team as a whole experienced difficult times in recent days? What is the atmosphere like at McLaren right now ?
Very positive. Given the circumstances, the team might have a slight drop in morale, but everyone remained focused on their objective. Everyone continues to work very hard. We are receiving new developments on the car this weekend. I believe that we cannot react otherwise, we must keep our heads held high. This concerns each member of the team, me first and foremost. I am trying as hard as possible to get through these difficult times.

With new developments on your car, what better do you expect in terms of performance?
We are not trying to stay around 10th place! Our goal is to fight for pole position and victory. Obviously, I think it's still utopian for this weekend, but I think we can progress and aim for Q3. That's it for the next stage, then we will try to progress, weekend after weekend.

What do you think of the FIA ​​Appeal Tribunal's decision regarding dual diffusers?
Now we have a clear decision. Everyone can get to work in the same direction. As a driver it makes no difference to me. I'm driving the car hoping to have more grip soon!
