Kubica and Di Resta test with Williams

After confirming the arrival of Carlos Sainz Jr at Renault for 2018, all eyes are on Williams for the rest of the pilot transfer window. At stake: the seat of Felipe Massa alongside Lance stroll for the next year. If, a few months ago, the Brazilian still had certainty about his future in F1 despite his first retirement at the end of 2016, the return of two other drivers overshadows the former driver Ferrari.

A time coveted by Renault, Robert Kubica is now on the list of leaders of the Grove stable. According to our information, the Pole, now managed by Nico Rosberg, will carry out several tests with the 2014 Williams, first at Silverstone (Great Britain) on October 11, then in Budapest (Hungary) on October 17.

The other driver coveted by Williams is Paul DiResta, already a reserve driver this season. The Scot surprised with his performance during his return as an express replacement for Felipe Massa at the Hungarian Grand Prix this year. Since then, the driver's rating DTM has continued to increase, especially as Di Resta's long-term future remains unclear with the withdrawal of Mercedes of the German championship in 2018. The Scot will ride on October 18 for Williams, certainly at the Hungaroring following Kubica.
