Kvyat understands Red Bull's promotion policy

If there is one who understands the particular management of the sector well Red Bull, it’s Daniil Kvyat. The Russian, praised by the parent company before being relegated to Toro Rosso then to cross the desert far from the spotlight, takes a detached look at the change of seats Pierre Gasly-Alexander Albon.

After his top-notch performance in Germany at the end of July (podium), the 2013 GP3 Series champion could have claimed the Red Bull wheel. Despite this non-promotion, the Russian remains focused on his work with Toro Rosso. “I have no disappointment. My year is already successful. I think about my work rather than other things that are beyond my control.

His former Thai teammate, propelled alongside Max Verstappen, can therefore better demonstrate his skills for the coming season. “I understand their choice. They (Redbull) have their reasons. I have to respect that, there's no problem.

What should not be forgotten is that I have already been to Red Bull (from 2015 to early 2016. Editor’s note) and that certainly had a role. That's what I was told. »

The sometimes unexpected turns taken by his career encourage him not to worry too much about his future in the house of the Red Taurus. " I do not think about it. With Red Bull, everything remains open. »
