Kvyat and Sainz advocate patience

For several weeks, the question of future engine supply for Red Bull et Toro Rosso shake up the paddock F1, after the end of the collaboration with Renault.

The energy drink brand had once turned towards Mercedes before being refused, and directs its negotiations with Ferrari, while clearly setting out its conditions.

Asked by Speedweek, Dietrich Mateschitz, big boss of Red Bull, for his part believed that the question had to be resolved before the end of October. For their part, the pilots advocate patience.

“Red Bull will make the right decision for the brand, for both teams. There's not much we can do. Red Bull has done a lot for F1, and F1 is going to give it back a little. With all this, I'm pretty sure next year we can be here. » confesses Carlos Sainz at a press conference.

Daniil Kvyat, resident of Red Bull Racing, goes in the same direction as the Spaniard. “Everyone has to be patient on the team. I think the right decisions will be made by our bosses. I trust them. »
