Mercedes
We take the same and start again ! After long weeks of negotiations, Lewis Hamilton extends his lease for two seasons with the Anglo-German team. “We are on the same wavelength on and off the circuit. I look forward to winning even more in the future and making the star shine. I am completely certain that Mercedes is the place to be for the next few years”, assures the reigning world champion.

His partner will be Valtteri Bottas, who only got one year of guaranteed contract, with an additional season optional. “The team knows my level of performance, and it’s a great sign of confidence that they have in me and my driving. »

Ferrari
Sebastian Vettel will remain leader of the Scuderia in 2019. The German will probably have to deal with the young Charles Leclerc, whose transfer rumors from Sauber have been circulating insistently since the beginning of the summer. However Kimi Räikkönen has not said his last word and formalization is slow.

Red Bull
Youngest Grand Prix winner, Max Verstappen will be promoted to leader of the training managed by Christian Horner. Older than the Dutchman by two years, Pierre Gasly should in all likelihood be confirmed in the coming weeks due to his convincing performances with sister team Toro Rosso (4th in Bahrain, 6th in Hungary).

Renault
The Losange signed the heist of the year, by hiring the rare gem Daniel Ricciardo for several seasons. The Australian will be “more than just a pilot” according to Cyril Abiteboul, the boss of Renault Sport Racing; the Frenchman sees him as the ideal man to bring Renault back to the top. Nico Hulkenberg will be kept for a third year.

Force India
It's the big blur following the financial rescue of Lawrence Stroll, the father of Lance stroll. It would be logical to see the Canadian facilitate the arrival of his offspring in the stable. The current holders, Sergio Pérez and Esteban Ocon could be sidelined in favor of Robert Kubica, whose talents as a director are appreciated by the Stroll family.

Haas
Ni Romain Grosjean, neither Kevin Magnussen have not been confirmed for 2019. The recent performances of the Frenchman (4th in Austria) and the consistency of the Dane nevertheless plead in their favor.

McLaren
A big name in F1 will be absent in 2019. Fernando Alonso will prioritize other challenges such as the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and certainly theIndyCar et leaves his post to his compatriot Carlos Sainz Jr. Stoffel Vandoorne, in chronic difficulty this season, cannot hold on to his seat.

Toro Rosso
In the event of Pierre Gasly's departure from Red Bull, a steering wheel would have to be filled, primarily for one of the young talents made in Red Bull Junior Team. Problem is, the sector has dried up in recent years, and Toro Rosso could draw from its repertoire of fallen talents or other drivers never protected by the energy drink.

Clean
Rumors relating to the arrival of Charles Leclerc at Ferrari indicate that the Monegasque (Ferrari Driver Academy driver) has not extended his lease with Sauber for 2019, which is also the case for Marcus Ericsson. However, the latter is more efficient than during the two previous campaigns, and Frédéric Vasseur is not dissatisfied with his men.

Williams
The English team is having a nightmare year with four points scored in 12 GPs. Lance Stroll has a good chance of migrating to Force India, as for Sergey Sirotkin, his financial contribution makes him one of his main assets to extend his contract.
