In parallel with sporting successes, Ferrari continued the development of road models, in particular with the support of FIAT, which entered the capital of the brand in 1969. The models followed one another until the F40 in 1987, the last car whose creation was supervised by the big boss before his death on August 14, 1988 at the age of 90.
