Nicholas latifi (Williams) is in its second season of Formula 1, but the Canadian had never driven on the streets of Monaco. The 25-year-old driver finished the event in an honest 15th place given his equipment but added an extra dose of difficulty.

Indeed, the vice-champion of Formula 2 2019 competed in the event… without drinking a single drop of water. “Before the race started, I forgot to connect the drink tube to my mouth in the helmet. I realized it too late, after the GP, but I thought “I'm damn thirsty!” » », he laughs.

“On arrival, I brought down a bottle of water. We are training (to deal with these incidents. Editor’s note). Of course, it's not ideal, I was probably a little dehydrated when I got out of the car,” he admits.

“You hardly have time to catch your breath in Monaco, even the straight lines are curved! The mental energy it requires makes you work harder (than on a traditional circuit. Editor’s note). »
