The disappointment of Vitantonio Liuzzi

In Bahrain, then in Mebourne, Vitantonio Liuzzi managed to score two and six points respectively. Unfortunately, for the third round of the world championship F1 2010 at Sepang, the Italian driver saw his Froce India let him down very early in the race.

“I had a good start from 10th place, declares the former pilot Toro Rosso. J?was in seventh position and was performing well, although I got stuck behind the Williams de Hulkenberg. I was struggling to take the lead, although I was faster but we were optimistic about how the Grand Prix would go. Unfortunately I had a problem with the accelerator after about 12 laps. We didn?t understand exactly what it was about but whatever happened, for us, it was over. It's disappointing for me but I'm delighted that Adrian (Sutil, editor’s note) was able to score big points which will help us with regard to the constructors' championship.

Now eleventh in the drivers' championship, two ranks behind his teammate, Vitantonio Liuzzi is now impatiently awaiting the next round in China (weekend of April 18), in order to regain his health.
