F1 pays off

On the eve of the Monaco Grand Prix, which most openly displays the wealth of Formula 1, the F1 industry research institute, Formulamoney, has studied the profitability of the king of motorsport. The study showed that the 260 employees of the Formula One Group each generate more income than the employees of the FTSE 100 companies, the hundred largest companies across the Channel. The average income per employee of the F1 Group reaches a colossal figure of 4,4 million dollars (3,14 million euros). This figure is much higher than the average income per employee at FIFA (International Association Football Federation) or the IOC (International Olympic Committee).
