The Jerez tests, from Tuesday to Thursday, will allow F1 to come out of the garage, a month after the end of the championship in Abu Dhabi. Since then, many drivers have been confirmed or called up, but the Jerez tests will feature young drivers, F1 hopefuls and/or rewarded for their performances this season.
Among the 18 pilots called, for the moment, to go to Spain this week, only Nico Hulkenberg is certain to be in Formula 1 next season, the German driver having been established at Williams alongside Rubens Barrichello. The GP2 Series champion will be present for two days in Jerez, while five drivers have been called up for the three days. Here is the summary table, as presented by the Jerez circuit.
